The troop is a small but active scouting unit with scouts advancing in rank steadily and successfully. We have a history of most scouts reaching the Eagle rank.
Our chartered organization is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rose Garden Ward. Scouting puts into practice the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, such as service, good works, duty to God, and self-reliance. At age 11, boys join the troop, entering into the 11-yr-old patrol to learn basic skills. When the scout reaches the age of 12, he moves into a patrol for more experienced scouts, adding more camp-outs and other events.
