How to Join
To become a registered Boy Scout with Troop 152, just take the following steps:
- Complete a Boy Scout registration form. They are available from the Scoutmaster or Troop Committee Chairperson. Turn in your completed form to a uniformed Scout Leader or Committee member.
- Complete a Troop Health History sheet and turn in with your registration. (See Attached Documents)
- Pay the Scout registration and Troop 152 dues.
They include: (Please make checks payable to “Boy Scout Troop 152”)
- $15 BSA Registration
- $65 Annual Troop Dues
- $12 Boys Life Magazine (optional but highly recommended)
- Once you have registered, you should purchase:
· Scout Field Uniform and patches (“Class A” See Uniform Section or the website)
· BSA/Troop Activity Shirt T-shirt (“Class B”)
· Camping equipment needed for weekend activities
- Finally, you must meet all the requirements on Page 4 of the Boy Scout Handbook to earn the initial Scout badge.
- Transfer Scouts should provide a printout or soft copy of their advancement records. An email of the records can also be sent from your previous Troop to the Troop 152 Committee Chair.
